The Learning Store

The Learning Store brings together our vast experience of developing and delivering community led services with our learning expertise, offering unique learning experiences that combine hands on experiences, taught workshops and placement opportunities. All delivered by community development practitioners. ​

All our programs include personal, community and employability outcomes creating a catalyst for deep and meaningful change for individuals, teams and communities.

Can be delivered from your venue, from our home at Gorton Central or digitally.

Flexible delivery by experienced and supportive facilitators.

Offering both externally accredited and HMHC verified courses to suit every starting point and ambition. 

Our Programmes

Community Grocer Training


CG training provides all the knowledge, skills and documents needed to setup a sustainable food project sharing our vast experiencing of managing our own Community Grocers across Manchester. Our home Gorton Central provides excellent training facilities and a real Community Grocer for a hands-on training experience. 

Foodworks

FoodWorks (NCFE accredited) is a train the trainer course for delivering community-food activities combining nutrition, cooking and facilitation skills having an impact for healthy-lives, community development and employment. 

Community Navigators

Community Navigator training provides the knowledge, skills and confidence to undertake the role helping people to access local services and activities, improving their health, wellbeing, resilience and independence.  

Funding Masterclass

Is ideal for those new to funding applications or looking to move beyond micro-grants equipping participants with life-long skills for grant funding success. It can be delivered for a group of individuals or tailored to a specific community group working on a real funding application.

Bespoke Training & Consultancy


We can also design and deliver bespoke course for you and undertake consultancy assignments for community development, community involvement & organising, funding applications and management.
