Take part in older people led social, wellbeing and learning activities at Gorton Central where you will choose to attend weekly groups or one-off activities. We have a varied timetable for over 50s living and working in Gorton and Abbey Hey.

Age Friendly Space
Mondays 1-3pm (Free) Just turn up there is no need to book a place.
Drop in and join the free Age Friendly Space, no need to book. Here you’ll find welcoming and like-minded people who enjoy chatting, creating, and learning together at Gorton Central.
The activities each week change as you decide as a group what you want to take part in. Past sessions have included:

Tai Chi
Gentle and low-impact exercise that helps improve strength, flexibility, and balance. Beginners welcome.

Gorton Growing Together Garden
Access a beautiful community garden to relax in nature, have some quiet time, and help grow tasty seasonal fruits and vegetables.
